A V8 Stock Car Brazil Champion, Felipe Fraga made his IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD debut with a Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing team in 2018’s season-ending Petit Le Mans, co-driving to a seventh-place finish. He joins Ben Keating, Jeroen Bleekemolen, and Wynn’s Racing Team Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG for 2019’s four-race Michelin Endurance Cup, which begins with his Rolex 24 at Daytona debut. Fraga won his stock car title in his native Brazil in 2016 and earned championship runner-up honors in the V8 series last year. He expanded his international sports car competition in 2017, driving a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in Blancpain Endurance and Intercontinental GT Challenge events. Just a few weeks after his IMSA debut at Petit Le Mans last October, Fraga co-drove a Mercedes-AMG GT3 to a Pro-Am class win in the California 8 Hours Intercontinental GT Challenge finale at WeatherTech Raceway at Laguna Seca.
